Hey MastoDudes and MastoDudettes, Doro here. If you are going to be attending the Missing Link show at the Tabernacle in Atlanta tomorrow, “like” or reblog this post! I would like to meet up with some of our site followers, just to hang out, have a good time, and get some solid feedback about the site (if you want to do such a thing).
I will be the chubby red-head in the Remission T-shirt and maybe with a leather jacket. After the show, there is an afterparty at Elmyr. Mastodon and potentially members of DEP, Red Fang, and other bands on the bill will be there and I’ll be there, too. Come on out and join the fun!
“Creature Lives” LIVE in Indianapolis, November 17, 2011
Uploading an encore live version of this song again for two reasons - this video is of higher quality, and members of Dillinger Escape Plan and Red Fang came out on stage to sing the choir bits in the song.
Love this so much <3
The official poster for the HUGE Missing Link show in Atlanta! There are six confirmed bands for the bill (Atlanta-based bands are starred):
Mastodon*
Dillinger Escape Plan
Red Fang
Tiger! Tiger!*
Black Lips*
MonstrO*
Really excited that local alt/punk act Black Lips have been added to the bill. All six of these bands are deliciously good, although I can say straight-up that DEP are going to stick out like a sore thumb at this gig.
Garage rockers Tiger! Tiger! feature Brann’s wife Susanne on bass, and the retro stoner metal act MonstrO is the new band that Troy’s brother Kyle is slinging bass for. Clicking the names of both bands will lead you to their respective Facebook pages, so go check out their music :)
If you live anywhere within 200 miles of Atlanta, you have no excuse to NOT attend this show. Tickets are $42, and considering that you’re getting six bands on a bill, that’s more than your money’s worth. Don’t miss out on this; you’ll regret it! You’ve got five weeks to figure out transportation and to notify your boss that you’ll be gone. Just go! Buy tickets HERE!
I’m going to be there covering the whole damn thing for those of you who don’t make it, and there might be some exclusive content and other goodies that I’ll bring back for everyone. Stay tuned!
- Doro

12/02 THE MISSING LINK…
Some are speculating that the “Missing Link” date will be Atlanta, but no one knows for sure.
If it isn’t, then I’ll just catch the Asheville date :)
Yesterday, Mastodon posted news on their Facebook page and website about an announcement of some sort that’s coming our way in two days. This will more than likely concern tour dates, but I can’t really confirm this rumor yet.
Curiously, Relapse Records darlings Red Fang also made a similar “big announcement” post about an hour after Mastodon’s concerning news they will deliver to fans on Monday. Now I’m not trying to spread rumors, but…well…like I said, nothing has been confirmed or denied, it’s all speculation.
We’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?
