“Blood and Thunder” at Criminal Records, ATL, 2004

First off, I want to thank Holly for reminding me to make a post here about Atlanta’s own Criminal Records being in jeopardy. Due to financial issues, the owner of this now-legendary music outpost fears that he will have to close the store for good in November. Mastodon are one of many bands who started their careers playing at Criminal, as you can see here. Even if you don’t live in Atlanta, do something to save awesome mom-and-pop record stores like this one!
