When did you first discover Mastodon?

As in, “When did you first become aware of the band’s existence?” I (CodeAires) discovered them about 2004, 2005-ish, around the time Leviathan was hot. They were a band I had heard of for ages before actually hearing them. I’m pretty sure “March of the Fire Ants” was used in an episode of Viva La Bam and that’s how I first heard them.
